Airborne Germs

The latest research completed at the University of Cincinnati Department of Environmental Health shows that Wein ionic equipment can substantially lower the concentration of many airborne Viral and Bacteria sized particles from .04 to 3 microns in size.

Lowering the concentration of these particles can reduce the risk of infection. See Doctors Nardell and Marcher (Respiratory Infections- Transmission and Environmental Control- Chapter 9; Bioaerosols: Assessment and Control, ACGIH, 1999 Use of Air Cleaners p. 9-11).

The AS150MM has been shown under strict laboratory conditions to substantially lower the concentration of viral and bacterial sized particles from .04 to 3 microns in size in confined spaces and to generate an electrostatic shield that repels these sized particles from the breathing zone.
